"We can win the trophy"

Even though Graeme Smith has been ruled out of the IPL final, he's got his fingers crossed for his team. Here's the man talking exclusively to TIMES NOW's Correspondent Rohan Deshmukh.

Rohan: The whole idea of playing in the IPL final will be a huge excitement for all of you, considering that you have had a dream run in the IPL so far.
Graeme: I think just getting into the finals is a wonderful experience for us. The way we have played this whole tournament is outstanding and obviously we would love to carry on this form and win the tournament. This is the first IPL and it will be special for everyone.

Rohan: The whole point that Rajasthan have played fantastically in the tournament. Do you think one hiccup in the finals could be terrible?
Graeme: It would be disappointing. It is a game of cricket. On the given day no one knows what is going to happen and that is what makes it fantastic to watch. But, if we play the way we have played and control things in the same intensity that we have in this whole tournament, then I think we have a very good chance of winning the tournament.

Rohan: You have many young players in your side. What will be the biggest impact Shane Warne will have on them?
Graeme: Shane has played in many big games in his career and he has performed really well. I think he loves the big stage and he has really been good in giving our guys confidenct and making them understand what is needed to be successful.

Rohan: Pressure will be big on few of the youngsters. Do you think they will be able to respond?
Graeme: They have responded well so far and that has been the wonderful thing about our team that everyone has performed well. We have had some guys who have done really well throughout the tournament , but across the border guys have performed at different times. The finals will be just another day.

Rohan: What has been the mantra of success for the Rajasthan Royals?
Graeme: I just think we have been a really good team. We have not just been individuals. We have been a well gelled team. Everyone knows their roles well and what they need to do.

Rohan: Finals is a big stage. Is there any specific plans for the match?
Graeme: No not really. We will keep things pretty similar. I think our management teams has been good and the way Warne has lead the guys in the tournament in the big games. Finals is just another step up from the semi-finals.
